Greer
Greer Massey, LMSW attended University of Southern Mississippi, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science in Hattiesburg and then a Master of Social Work degree in Long Beach. In the final year of grad school, they even completed their second (and final) field placement with CFHC’s behavioral health department. Thus, they grew fond of CFHC’s mission to make healthcare accessible to its community. They are absolutely thrilled to fulfill their role as a Behavioral Health Specialist with CFHC.

As a neurodivergent social worker, Greer emphasizes the importance of showing self-compassion and being mindful of one’s personal growth. They recognize that despite every day posing its own set of challenges, every obstacle is like a puzzle waiting to be solved. Therefore, Greer welcomes everyone to approach behavioral health and mental health with similar curiosity.

Greer was born and raised in Southeast Louisiana, spending much of their childhood playing sports and appreciating the outdoors. However, the Mississippi Gulf Coast is now Greer’s permanent home. In their free time, they enjoy gardening, hiking, reading, and volunteering in the community.
