Sanja Daniels, LMSW
Sanja Daniels, LMSW received her bachelor’s in child and Family Studies then her master’s of Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi. She provides services to children five to eighteen years of age. She provides therapy through play, games, talking, CBT, solution focused therapy, and by meeting the individual where they are. She works with my patients to help them set achievable goals that will make a lasting impression on their daily life. She uses evidence-based instruments and screeners so that she can be aware of the patient’s progress. She utilizes dog therapy which research reports is highly effective to a patient’s progress. Sanja enjoys working at Coastal Family Health Center because it allows for her to serve her community. She really enjoys being able to provide her patients with collaborative care. Coastal Family Health Center has given her the opportunity to serve those who normally wouldn’t be able to seek out mental health resources. She looks forward to what each day at Coastal Family Health Center has to offer. She believes that she is part of something bigger than just herself. We are a team that has united to provide excellent care to our community.
In her free time, Sanja enjoys spending time with her husband and children. she enjoys singing, dancing, painting, baking, gardening, and DIY projects. She has three dogs Kotty, Piglet, and Jerusha. Two of her dogs are therapy dogs. All three of her dogs love people and enjoy meeting new people on their daily walks.
