Coastal Family Health Center is excited to welcome Shekina Dillon, APRN, to the D’Iberville Clinic. She is a native of the MS Gulf Coast, raised in Moss Point. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Spring Hill College in 2001 and Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University in 2018. For over 20 years, her love for nursing has been spread across the U.S. and abroad, working in many capacities. She is also a captain in the U.S. Air Force, where she serves as the Mental Health Nurse for her squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, for the past 8 years.

She has been married to her husband, Donald, for 18 years, and they have 2 daughters, Aubree and Reagan. She is very involved in the community through her membership in social organizations, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., as well as MS Gulf Coast Chapter of The Links, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and listening to novels, traveling, and just spending time with her family.
