Dr. Clarke M. Allen is a compassionate general dentist with a strong commitment to community health and helping underserved populations. A native of Mendenhall, Mississippi, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2018, where she was selected for the Mississippi Rural Dental Scholars Program. Dr. Allen went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2022 and completed a General Practice Residency at Carilion Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in hospital dentistry and caring for medically complex, special needs, and pediatric patients.
In 2023, Dr. Allen began practicing at one of the nation’s oldest community health centers, where her dedication to patient care and advocacy led to her promotion to Dental Director in 2025. Her professional mission centers on providing high-quality, accessible dental care while educating patients and communities on the vital connection between oral health and overall wellness. Dr. Allen is now the Director of Dental Services for Coastal Family Health Center, and is passionate about expanding access to comprehensive, compassionate oral healthcare through education, prevention, and patient empowerment.
