Safia Mohiuddin, MD, MPH

Dr. Mohiuddin is passionate to serve humanity and the community to make a difference in the life of her patients. She loves her profession and taking care of people around her. Dr. Mohiuddin has extensive experience in primary care, women’s health, addiction, substance use disorder and lifestyle medicine.
She has worked with different demographic and biographic areas, and practiced evidence-based medicine. She worked and gained training in Transitional Internal Medicine at Merit Health Wesley Hospital in Hattiesburg. She completed her training in Preventive Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
In addition, Dr. Mohiuddin learned about Addiction Medicine and substance use disorder treatment. She has participated in scholarly activities throughout her training and has presented presentations on various topics at different conferences. Dr. Mohiuddin also earned a Master of Science in Population Health which makes her familiar with and helps her understand socioeconomic determinants and needs of populations in the South.
She loves to create fine jewelry and read books during her leisure time.
