Saquena Alford, LPC, NCC, Ed.S., CMHT, is a licensed professional counselor with more than five years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. She has worked with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, self-harm, and suicidal or homicidal ideation, using evidence-based practices and crisis intervention strategies. Her experience includes serving as a Behavioral Health Technician at East Mississippi State Hospital and as a Mental Health Therapist with Youth Villages, where she developed individualized treatment plans and delivered in-home and community-based therapy.

Saquena holds an Educational Specialist degree in Counselor Education, a Master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mississippi State University–Meridian, where she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology.
