This October, Coastal Family Health Center will host a Women’s Health Day dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their health. This walk-in event welcomes both new and existing patients and will include $25 Pap smears and/or mammograms for eligible participants. These essential screenings can help with the early detection and prevention of serious health conditions and cancers.
“Women’s Health Day is all about making vital screenings more accessible to everyone while creating a supportive space for our community,” said Jada Vierling Hill, DNP, WHNP-BC, a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner with Coastal Family Health Center. “We’re proud to be able to offer these screenings to the women on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.”
In addition to women’s health services, a community blood drive will be held, and the community is encouraged to participate. Donation appointments can be scheduled through vitalant.org or by calling 877-25-VITAL.
