Coastal Family Health Center’s Gulfport Clinic is inviting the community to enjoy a day of free food, family fun, and valuable community resources at its:
“Just Because” Community Appreciation Event
Saturday, August 1st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
East North Gulfport Park, 8240 Florida Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501
Hosted entirely by the staff of Coastal Family Health Center’s Gulfport Clinic, the event is a way to say “thank you” to the community for its continued support.
“This event is simply our way of giving back,” said Shanavier Clark, Director of Integrated Behavioral Health Services. “We wanted to create a fun day where families can enjoy a meal, connect with local organizations, and spend time together, all at no cost. It’s our way of showing appreciation to the community we are proud to serve.”
The free event will include:
- Free cookout lunch
- Local community vendors and resource organizations
- Health, financial, housing, and education resources
- Face painting and family-friendly activities
- Free school supplies (while supplies last)
- Splash pad and playground access
- Giveaways and more
Families from Gulfport and surrounding communities are encouraged to attend. Whether stopping by for lunch, cooling off at the splash pad, gathering back-to-school supplies, or connecting with local organizations, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
