Coastal Family Health Center has received a $50,000 donation from the Mississippi Power Foundation in support of its Healthcare for the Homeless (HCH) program, helping expand access to essential healthcare services for individuals experiencing homelessness across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The Healthcare for the Homeless program provides comprehensive primary care services to some of the community’s most vulnerable populations, including medical care, behavioral health support, preventive services, care coordination, and connections to additional community resources.
“Supporting individuals experiencing homelessness takes more than shelter, it also requires accessible, consistent healthcare. This generous donation strengthens our ability to meet people where they are and provide them with quality, comprehensive, patient-centered primary care. We’re truly grateful for this support and the lasting impact it will have across our community,” said Angel Greer, CEO of Coastal Family Health Center.
The donation will help strengthen outreach efforts and support continued access to healthcare services for individuals and families facing housing insecurity throughout the region.
